The snow is falling down, but I'd like to see it switch over to rain.... ?
Yesterday, (the 27th) was the last practice for our show at the gymnasium. All the arrangements have been made and we're finally headed to the theater.
The cast have all been given 2 days off.
From today on, all the staff will be working at the theater preparing everything for our run through of the show. I always think that everyone of the staff truly appreciate our desire to do a wonderful play.
This is a great production, to appear with seniors on a daily basis. Everyday at practice, there is more to discover.
I'm watching my physical conditioning, and looking forward to Opening Day.
I'm going to do my best!
I think Anza's pic is a copy of the script.
I'm not too sure about the opening line about the weather, I gave it my best guess.

Recently, have some members pulled a disappearing act? Hiro in particular! After writing one Blog entry, he's gone missing in action!! The leader is setting a bad example. (laughing)
By the way, on the 20th HPP went to Nagoya to perform.
What's that? Live show.
Are you sure? You want to cry because it wasn't on the schedule?....Yeah. So, what's the deal?
TV Chita put together an Event for their 10th year anniversary. They wanted to assemble hometown musical artists to come and play for their cable TV program. It will be broadcast tomorrow.
Nagoya is still my hometown. That's why we were invited.
They didn't want to make an official announcement of our playing in the show. It was to be s surprise. Sorry about keeping it a secret, OK?
Now, HPP has their first challenge to try and play with an acoustic musical accompaniment. ?
Before long, we'll announce plans involving an animation movie program. Stay tuned!
Here's today's photograph.
At a freeway service station pit stop, Narumi and Batch are squatting to look at Key Chains. (laugh)
I'm not sure about Anza's comment on the acoustic show. I couldn't tell if she meant HPP would play acoustic guitars, or if they would use an orchestra to accompany the show. I'm thinking the second one, if it has to do with a movie soundtrack.

I just feel like shouting!
It's cold outside!!!!!
On the 20th, our band HPP went to Nagoya to do a show. On the way back....the snow started coming down.
No, I don't hate winter or think it's something to avoid. But, right now, it's just a little too cold for my liking.~.
Oh! My stage practice has gone through to the end. Practice has a good flow going into the final scenes and I admire how the show ends.
I truly have to give it my best!!!
Certainly, everyone should come and see, "Oh My Baby Our Baby". Please, do it for me!! You can thank me later.
Ah! I also have practice tomorrow!!
There's more about the HPP show in Nagoya on the HPP Blog. I'll translate that later.
Akira posted an explanation for a part of the HPP Blog translation on 1/15 that I had trouble with. Be sure to check out her comment.

I've just returned home safely from Kanazawa. (laugh)
Well, the snow was really coming down! But that didn't keep the fans away. Everyone who came to the show, Thank You.
Kanazawa is such a special place for HPP. This is where we did our first radio show of the tour. It was a pleasant welcome.
But above all, AZ is such a terrific live house and I love it!
All the staff have a passion for the band, and sometimes when they show it, my head spins and it takes some time to set in. But, I've really come to appreciate it.
Besides, meeting Mr. Van, his friends, and all the other bands have become very important to me. Every time I return to this place for a live show, it's amazing and I'm grateful for the experience. (Mr. Van ?)
Hey! All my best to Kanazawa!!
1: First, one of the staff at Kanazawa AZ lovingly made these handmade covers for the beverages. How thoughtful!
2: Second, this pic is the sushi buffet they laid out for HPP. (laugh)
3: Third, is a pic of the staff and bands for the customary souvenir photo collection.
Here the Blog link for the pics.

Everyday the weather has been really cold. Don't you think?
I've been so busy lately, I haven't had time to sit down in front of my personal computer.
Wow! It's been a full schedule with play practice and the HPP tour. It keeps me jumping. (laugh)
On the 13th and the 14th, we went to Kanazawa AZ for our live show.
We were greeted by a snowy landscape!! It was a very pretty and natural scene~.
Only....we went there on a small commuter flight. There were bumps and jolts the whole way and I started shaking in my boots. (laughing)
It doesn't matter how old you are when something scary happens, the natural thing is to be frightened!!
Even so, the live show at Kanazawa burnt exceedingly hot!! The crowd got me fired up!!!! Everyone who came to see the show, Thank You!!

Is everyone taking it easy in the New Year? I went with HPP and some friends on a snowboarding trip. After a long time, I felt completely restful and at ease.
And then, the Jan. 6th live show at the Shibuys Boxx went well.Thank you all for coming. Of course, now I'm stiff and sore. (laugh)
Now on the 7th, my new stage production, "Oh my Baby our Baby", begins. I've already started singing practice.
I have a desperate desperate struggle!!! The piano in the musical performance is perfectly dreamy. Just to listen to it puts you in a state of ecstasy.
Hey! That isn't a good situation when you need to concentrate on performing. (laugh)?
Anyhow, listening to the score daily will be a comfort as the time passes!!!!! ?
There's also practice tomorrow! I need to keep up with my physical conditioning!!! I have to push through with my best effort!!
Anza's musical runs from Jan. 31 to Feb. 7th.
There was a pic of Anza and the guys on the snowboard trip posted on the HPP Blog. Here's the link to the entry.

The first HPP live of 2008 at Shibuya has finished safely. Everyone who came to the show to see us, Thank you, truly.
It's been a really long time since we performed in front of a Tokyo audience. It was weird because of all the tension I felt the night before the show. (laugh)
However, I was one truly astonished band member when we were called back on stage for our encore. (laugh)
What?! I didn't want to hold anything back, but I only had half a minute to change my clothes. (laugh)
I was very delighted with the Shibuya crowd. (heart) Thank you fans.
And now, today's photograph.
It's a photo memory of us backstage before going out in front of the audience to play.
HPP Blog 1/7
It looks to me that Anza has pretty much abandoned her HPP Diary and is doing most of her blogging on the new HPP Blog. At first, I couldn't tell which posts were hers. Now that I think I can safely translate her entries, I'm going to post them here.
I'm not going to post the HPP Blog photo's, because you can go to their blog and leave them a comment, which is something I recommend doing. I'm sure they'd love to hear your comments.
I think I'm going to try to post the HPP Blog link to the correct entry that's been translated. That way, anyone can click there from here, see the picture and hit the link to leave a comment.
This policy isn't written in stone, so we'll just have to see how this works out..

Believe it or not, it's almost ten years to the day that Anza performed her last time as Sailor Moon in the musicals. To commemorate this occasion, I thought I'd post this clip of Anza passing Sailor Moon's tiara to Fumina Hara. Anza has come a long way since then, with all the work on Les Mis and with HPP. They are currently performing the Folie A Deux tour, and Anza puts on a great show. Hopefully, she'll be back with HPP sometime soon this year. Hope everyone likes this video.
