Returned to my own country. (music note)

I've returned to Japan safe and sound. The live in Los Angeles was the best. But, the muscle pain after an energetic show is awful....

Even though I had an extremely hard schedule to keep up with, I still found the time to take a trip to Disneyland. There wasn't time for a slow restful visit for pleasure, but it was enjoyable nevertheless!

For the attraction of Finding Nemo I stood in a long line because it was something they don't have in Japan. (laugh)

I also did some shopping and purchased this plush toy. (piglet)

There's been a date change, but tomorrow I begin to concentrate on The Gift practice.

HPP Diary

Passport Stamp!

My first live show in Los Angeles took me by surprise. For real! In spite of the fact that it was the first time for many of you to get the chance to come and see me. I was happy.

The overseas crowds like to cheer and shout and you can't help but to take it all in. Although, as pleasant as it may be, I'm still a little shy from all the attention.....

We also had our first group autograph session. Surprisingly, all the members felt quite at home.

We did many interviews with reporters who collected lot's of data. So look for an endless stream of reports and charged up news articles!

I got to ask Anza a few question about Disneyland after the PMX HPP Fan Panel. She said her favorite rides were Finding Nemo and Pirates of the Carribean. She didn't get to take the Peter Pan ride. I forgot to ask her if she went on the Haunted House.

Let me see....

I'm completely wiped out and I need to sleep. (laugh) When you put it off for so long your entire body screams.....

However, I like to push myself more and more to chase after my dream. Why should I ease up when I'm so close to my goal?

There are so many things that can hurt you. Little things can also be very painful....
Because of this you feel like howling in desperation. Still, I feel that it's a real part of life for any human.

Do my best~! Those are the words that appear inside The Gift. You feel better and get energy when you say it to your close friends.

Now, I'm getting ready for my Los Angeles departure. Preparations....they are nowhere near being done. (laughing)

I got a couple days off, so I'll try to catch up on Anza's Blogs. I was trying to download a names dictionary from rikaichan. That should make my translations more accurate. However, I'm having trouble getting my computer to download it, That's what has been taking up my time.

After I post this diary, I'm off to Los Angeles. (laugh)

After a long time of not performing live, I wonder in what way it'll turn out. We'll see, I guess....

It'll be a large struggle to shine brightly. At least that's how it feels.

Surely, Hiro will begin Los Angeles renewals for his Blog. I'm pretty sure...

Soon, Narumi will also resume his LA renewals, right? Otherwise, I'll have to get unpleasant and make him do it against his will. (laughing)

Anza JP Blog 11/7/07

We're done!!

The band successfully finished recording the Album!! Well, I was completely frazzled. But, we managed to complete a good work.

And then, we dive head long into promotion activity. Everyday, we're doing data collecting for magazines and newspapers. I feel like I'm becoming a real motor mouth. (laugh)

And tomorrow, after a date change....we go to Los Angeles on the 8th.

After a long time without a live show, I'm ready to scream my head off!!

At any rate, we'll have no less than an hour to do our stage show....

I'm taking the nutrition drink Toda with me from Japan because they don't carry it in the States. Good idea! Don't you think? (laughing)

And then, practice for "The Gift" starts to take off. Also, I wasn't able to participate in the soundtrack recording because I was short on time. Which makes me feel a little insecure.

But, when everyone is together, I'm growing accustomed to more natural make-up just like my character Ayaka. Kinda strange. Perhaps I'm used to using more.....?

As for me, I hope I'm up for the task to prepare for LA....

Sorry for taking so long to get back to these translations since PMX. I've had nothing but car troubles to deal with for days. I think that's behind me and I hope I can catch up with Anza in a day or two.

At Last

I've finished recording. Sometimes I felt that the time I spent there was excessive, but to succeed I had the difficult battle of sleeplessness to overcome. (laugh)

We went two years without issuing a new Album. Since then, the band members have had lot's of different experiences that transformed their ideas and expectations.

And I had bottled up lot's of thoughts that exploded out giving us plenty to record...after my last birthday it was a welcome feeling.

The band is like your extended family, sometimes you act like a fool and quarrel over trivial things. But, through it all, you learn to rely on each other to get the job done.

When I look back over my own life, there are many things I wish I had done differently.

But two things make me extremely happy. My role as a member of HPP and having a manager who's a joy to work with.

And through music, a type of universal language, you can communicate with the fans (circle of friends) no matter where they're from.

Tomorrow, again, I'll try my best!

Today, I'll sleep. (laugh)

This will probably be my last Anza translation for a while. I have to get ready to go to LA to see HPP at the PMX Expo. So, I probably won't have time to work on anything else.

I'll probably do a lot of updates from LA when I get there on Thursday.

After a little while!!

At last! It looks like the end of recording is in sight. There were many songs to put on the Album, and that was very hard work. But, I think the CD turned out great!!

The next critical point in all this is the upcoming release date. But, Hey! I know that. (laugh)

Now, among other things, I got a touch of the flu....my aunt asks....will you get well soon? ?

*not entirely certain about that last bit*

I knew Anza would get through the recording process in good shape. I don't think there is anyone who loves performing better, and recording an Album is what gets you out on the road.

I bet she is glad that it's finally done. I think they started recording full time back in June. That's a fairly long time to be at it.
